Because of the double digit unemployment and the total lack of jobs,
SHED has a goal to "seize the opportunities" that we have for economic
development.
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
SHED formed a construction company to utilize local contractors for the
Starland Heights development.
SHED provided performance bond, builders risk and liability.
Two local contractors were the prime contractors in construction at Starland
Heights, five full time and three part-time contractors also worked on
the project for 2 years. |
